Albert Manley Braden, 83, a resident of Lake City, Florida, died Thursday 7 July 2005 at the Lake City Medical Center, Lake City, Florida. Mr Braden was born 17 August 1921 in Neversink, New York to the late Robert Manley and Thelma Wright Braden. He moved to Lake City in 1986 from Miami, Florida after working as a carpenter for over 70 years, learning the trade from his grandfather.
He served in the signal corps, U.S. Army during WW II.
Mr Braden was an Elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Third Ward.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Julianne Moore Braden. Two daughters: Jenifer Walker (James), Orange City, Florida and Tina Kilgore (Randall) Lake City, Florida. One son: Phillip (Marcy) Braden, Homestead, Florida. Two grandchildren and one great grandson. One brother: Philip R. Braden (Evelyn) of Stuart, Florida. Numerous nieces and nephews also surviv
Funeral services will be conducted Monday 11 July 2005 at 10:00 AM in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop David Morse officiating. Internment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Union County, Florida.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Guerry Funeral Home 2659 SW Main Blvd., Lake City, Florida is in charge of arrangements. 386-752-2414
