Hi Harold,
A note from Ann today said that you need help in getting the RVA index online. That's a pretty wonderful index that Robert has created and I would be delighted to help...I am a retired School Librarian and, although technology can throw me sometimes, I am good at word processing. At times I am very busy helping my husband in his consulting business (I write funding grants) but other times I am free. I have all ready put several cemeteries online for the Cayuga County NY ite and loved doing it. There is only one thing...will you help me get my branch included? That would be super! So far no one has made the online edition and only a couple are in the print version. I would like to change that. (-; My line is Abraham, Daniel, Jeremiah, Moses, Charles Mortimer, Elizabeth Ann VA RICE, Esther Nellie RICE CHAPIN, Charlotte CHAPIN ROSS, Sharon ROSS LOYSEN.
NOTE: Actually Charles Mortimer VA had a son Myron Wilbur who was a well known lawyer in the Utica NY area. His son, Wilbur Rice VA, was a noted navy commander from 1899 to 1953. They haven't yet made it to the index!
Were you at the 1998 reunion in Port Jervis? I was there with my Mother and we had a wonderful time.
I understand that you have software for this project so, if you are interested in my helping, please let me know what is next. Probably the most difficult thing (for me) will be setting up the program!! Oh well, am willing to give it a try.
